perjury reflex. Momentary
peepholes echo binary

muscular taboos, and
veins unclothed unwind

into ziggurat. Space
corrected allergic ladders,

horizons grates for
jasmine melody tactics.

Tomorrow I punctuated
conclusions with obsessive

impression demographics and
embedded unbuttoned growth

of luxury nugatory
gravamens. Client feast

(fried fief) leaked
he-man objectives to

alibi violins. Humming
mentions headboards, lurking

pettifogging circuitry. Scarecrow
shadow—syntax shattering

glandular mirror. We
order honeyless placebos

from migratory resignation
symptoms. Histrionic footprints,

discombobulation's fingertip upon
private squeegee experiments.

Body soundtrack, obbligato
litmus should commit

revelations populated by
needs, intractable bromide—

seedless Hallelujah. Falling
clockface would decide

all ellipses. Emerald,
driftwood retrofitting diasporas

for shrieking voicemail
mentalities (under lawyers’

umbrella coordinates). Acrid
marble hedge diffusion

is attractive sequestered
(vibes). Wordless evidence,

transparent blouse shedding
a provisional refuge.

Marriage brakes lunging
arrangements, as chenille

surpasses shrapnel before
cathedral implants understudy

chemical. Stencils love
sleep feasts. Chiseled

nipples hiss reputation
fabulously. Ovulating

archivist, our overachieved
Scheherazade swigs exorbitance.

Becoming scabs if
damp (backlash ambiance)

cupcakes talk appeasement.
Contagious strawberry aspires,

surpasses narrative façade,
blinds whoever binds

their circle spectrum.
Freedom in longhand,

overripe inescapability. Yearlings
chime effervescing scatology

against opaque zigzagging
receptacles. Winter compulsions,

incubating chrysanthemums, seldom
traffic in zeppelins,

but wincing insinuate
invasion. Evidence impregnates

illogical limits with
flaccid pendulum causeways

beyond leftist pinesmell
grief. Capstone showoff

colonizing golden translation
of vacuum-packed smoke

resembles a twitching
circumference. His god’s

bucolic bordello diagnosed
hair pedestals, conspicuous

weapons. Rice paced
grief adoringly. Your

opera mistook my
lifeline for crossroads.

Unknowingly obscene recluses’
atmosphere. Reproduce unconditional

grapevine catastrophe. Insinuate
retro emptiness to

understand second-hand sirocco.
Smooth tremor weaving

eminence into an
absent drug bulletin.

Spoon-feed catastrophe, symphony
dismembers encrypted harpoon.

Encaustic strand, gemcrust
mirroring wonderful touch.

Billowing road honey.
Don't sunset pains

rub slaphappy temptations?
Footwork drumming mortality's

perfume. Who’s pronouncing
probability static? Knotholes

dance into trembles:
plush grief enables

tiptoe telephone labor, a
sewed shadows. Nobody’s

reading every disruption
of zodiac punctuated

scent, but whiff
feedback monitoring gross

intuitions. Cauterize appearances
of lockdown, proclaim

withholdings as pathos,
perform subcontracted canvas

blindfold, stiffen latent
dictators. Brandy numbed

culpable fairway subsidiaries.
I’m doubling daydream

pomades, roadnoise distributed
with humble detritus

of objective illusion,
immune demos. Fruit

wires indivisible simmering
like cruel pregnant

conclusions. Corporate sex
blurs egg questions,

vat sacraments, nerve
thongs, parenthetical monsters,

disintegrating swells. Indignities
leapfrog elaboration as

novelists ransom paralysis.
Essence virgins anguish,

fragments ascribing admonition
harpoon blush. Retired

lullabies condition ecstasies
eligible for transmedia

sauce to peeling
repeated modifiers. Sobs

accuse singing of
germ expression (opening

whatever irradiated human
thinking mutates). Encrusted

leaflets, paper chords
catch my elastic

siphon with indifferent
attention to a

dysfunctional odalisque. Miserable
redemption divestiture pronouncement:

“Insulated sheathe doppelgangers
imported from overmedicated

jukeboxes." Eggplant jesters
animating underthings. Probable

periscope, impatient spiral
hazing inklings, encrypted

loudspeakers. Slathered influence
bandages calm hats

and circumstance. Why
do we vibrate?

How will humming
become gaping troops?

Where is stereo
sucking orthodox inkblot?

Delinquent penetration initials

Tom Beckett was born in Battle Creek, Michigan. On his 16th birthday, the first man walked on the moon. He was the editor/publisher of The Difficulties, a legendary critical magazine. His Unprotected Texts: Selected Poems (1978-2006) was published by Meritage Press in 2006. Beckett is the curator of the E-X-C-H-A-N-G-E-V-A-L-U-E-S Interviews online; Otoliths has published The First XI Interviews in paperback. He lives in Kent, Ohio.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thomas Fink, born in New York City, has published four books of poetry, including No Appointment Necessary (Moria Poetry, 2006), and two books of literary criticism. Beard of Bees published his e-chapbook, Staccato Landmark (2006). Fink is co-editor of a collection of essays on David Shapiro (2007).
