Cheryl
A Townsend has been behind her Canon's for over 30 years, starting
with an AE-1 that she still uses. Finding the fun with digital (and
cost savings) she has recently given the old Canon's a vacation and
has been focusing primarily with a Rebel XT. These images are from
her studio works under the tutelage of Alan Doe. Her influences
include Diane Arbus, Cindy Sherman, Tina Modotti, Imogen Cunningham,
Joel-Peter Witkin & of course Mapplethorpe, Ritts, Weston, & Smith.
