Jeanne Marie Beaumont is the author of Placebo Effects (Norton 1997), which was a National Poetry Series winner, and the forthcoming collection Curious Conduct (BOA Editions 2004), and is the co-editor of The Poets' Grimm: 20th Century Poems from Grimm Fairy Tales. Her work has appeared in several magazines and anthologies including Conduit, Boston Review, Manhattan Review, Rattapallax, Verse and Volt. She teaches at Rutgers University and at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, where she lives.
