Luba Halicki holds an MFA degree in creative writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her most recent sound/poem piece was performed with puppetry and a bear for Red Rover Series in Chicago. Luba’s work has been published in Babaylan: An Anthology of Filipina and Filipina American Writers (Aunt Lute Books) and Screaming Monkeys: Critiques of Asian American Images (Coffee House Press). She teaches at Herron School of Art & Design IUPUI. “Chastity” was selected from her poem series on the virtues.
