can on longer taste the distance.
A hayseed trips its trap, fly
by tongue, deft equilibration. Billy
goes spool, then off to suction
section. Interest wanes, as in
the best part of the day is night.
           Stow away fears
           They’ll come in handy
           Mow with tears
           Shakes just dandy
Silhouettes stilettos of hope in flint
of sight. It comes in all flavors
but I can no longer face the difference.
