Arlene
Magloire is a great cook. She's also a self-taught
multi-dimensional creative artist and avid photographer.
When she isn't painting or creating a piece of art, she's
traveling. Travel enables her to always be creative, even
if, as she says, "it is only in my mind, only to be
expressed in the future." She sees the Internet as a new
vehicle, making interesting articles, stories, pictures and
paintings accessible. She loves the tropical weather of
South Florida, dislikes the lack of creativity when it comes
to architecture in Florida, but "life is fine" when
surrounded by tropical plants, beautiful art, great
literature. Her work
has appeared in numerous exhibitions, internationally, and
can be found online
here and
here. She was
featured in the book Haitian Art in the Diaspora (a
publication of Vie & Art Collections, September 2003). A
picture of her painting entitled "Sailing" was featured in
the newspaper Berliner Abendblatt.
