Holly
Picano studied at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale but after
that waited nearly ten years before she picked up a paint brush.
She painted black and white portraits of famous women, but now
paints female subjects in primary colors only; no flesh tones of
any kind. She paints at Café Tu Tu Tango, an artist
loft-style restaurant, or in her studio or at home. When she's
not painting, she's selling world renown art in a Florida
gallery. She's had work featured in Orlando Weekly,
Orlando Sentinel, Permorming Artist Magazine, Karma Magazine
and in the book by Mem Mehmet entitled Madonna in Art.
About Internet publications, she enjoys being able to access
articles online, but says that nothing compares to the printed
version that she can take to the pool, on a trip, or anywhere
else. She's got a website at www.hollypicano.com.
