Fertile Earth
A child lies down
between rows of August.
Still gladioli against
months of clouds.
The flying sticks
arrive. To instantly
run away. As scary
as Oz monkeys.
Between & against: origins
of escape; & to escape
is one form of
losing ones way.
September.
Hurried is the color of plum-skin.
October.
Impatient is the color of plum-bloom.
November.
