Thurston Moore is a founder of nyc rock/noise 4-tet Sonic Youth - active since 1981 touring planet Earth and releasing records everywhere. He self published his collection iron crosses and insect paranoia - poemz I wrote in a bethel, connecticut bedroom in the early/mid'70s as an acid/glam raunchy rock creem/circus teenage punk (Total Destruction) in 1998. A second collection of verse from the 80s/90s alabama wildman was published summer 2001 by Water Row Books as well as WHAT I LIKE ABOUT FEMINISM (escstatic peace pubs.). In 2002 he published fuck a hippie…but be a punk (glass eye books), and in 2003 Nice War (Glass Eye) and Total Poon (Angry Dog Midget Editions) as well as various broadsides. The free/noise/music space scene is where he resides w/ his partner Kim Gordon and daughter Coco Hayley. Thurston and Sonic Youth are currently involved with rock/noise ffuturizm.
