Jenni Russell
Poetry Editor ~ Interviewer

Recently, I decided I needed a schedule. The garbage can was infested with red ants, flies swarmed my kitchen windows, and a cockroach built a nest under my computer’s monitor. The schedule gives me two hours a day for chores. It helps. I dislike talking about myself in the third person, it makes me feel weird and uncomfortable. However, I know that is the way a bio tends to sound professional. I often wonder what is expected of me in a bio like this. I often wonder why I exist at all. Do you want to know why I am interested in poetry? The same reason a pollywog is interested in water, I suppose. I’ve met people who are trying to go from “normal” to “weird” in their creative endeavors or in their lives. I spend the majority of my time fighting to get back towards the “normal” bracket.
