| I
was Hers |
|
I long for a woman to love me fierce
as my mother did when she expelled
me her body my home until they severed
her from me cut the cord broke the heart
she gave me. No wonder I don't believe in love.
So I long for fierce women and settle for men
though no man can own me that wholly inside
out outside in tugging that rope knotting me to him.
