David
Trinidad’s last two books, Phoebe 2002: An
Essay in Verse and Plasticville,
were published by Turtle Point Press. His other
books include Answer Song and
Hand Over Heart: Poems 1981-1988. His poems
have appeared in such periodicals as The American
Poetry Review, Boston Review and Harper’s,
and have been included in numerous anthologies.
Trinidad is Director of the Graduate Poetry Program
at Columbia College Chicago, where he also teaches
and co-edits the journal Court Green. |

Nick
Carbó is the author of three collections of poetry,
the latest being Andalusian Dawn. He
has edited three ground breaking anthologies of
Filipino and Filipino American
Writing, Returning A Borrowed Tongue, Babaylan,
and Pinoy Poetics. He has won
fellowships in poetry from the National Endowment
for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the
Arts and residencies to Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony,
VCCA, Fundacion Valparaiso (Spain), and Le Chateau
de Lavigny (Switzerland). His visual poems have been
exhibited in Harvard University's Infinity Visual
Poetry show. He is currently teaching as the
Distinguished Visiting Poet in the MFA program at
the University of Miami. |

Terri Carrion was conceived in Venezuela, born in
New York, raised in Los Angeles, and now lives in
Hollywood, Florida. She received her MFA from FIU.
Her work has appeared in The Cream City Review,
Slipstream, Hanging Loose, Pearl, Paper Tiger
and Miami Street, among others, and online in
Jack Magazine, MiPOesia, Poetic Inhalations,
and Dead Drunk Dublin (Ireland). Her
photography has also appeared online in Jack
and Dead Drunk Dublin, and in print in
Gulf Stream magazine. She is currently assistant
editor of the online journal

Reb
Livingston
is the editor of
No Tell Motel.
She is one of the editors of the anthology The
Bedside Guide to No Tell Motel (scheduled to be
published end of 2005). Her poems have recently
appeared or are forthcoming in MiPOesia, SOFTBLOW,
Ducky, Unpleasant Event Schedule, Drunken Boat, Good
Foot and LIT. A native of Pittsburgh, PA,
she lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and
son.

Michael Hettich has published a dozen books and chapbooks of
poetry. He has two new books out this year: SWIMMER DREAMS
(Turning Point, winner of the Tales Prize) and FLOCK AND
SHADOW: NEW AND SELECTED POEMS (New Rivers Press). His work
has appeared widely in journals and anthologies. His awards
include two Florida Individual Artist Fellowships. He teaches at
Miami Dade College.
Bruce Covey is Adjunct Lecturer of Creative Writing at Emory
University and author of three collections of poetry—The
Greek Gods as Telephone Wires, and the forthcoming Ten
Pins, Ten Frames and Glass Is Really a Liquid—all
from Front Room Publishers. His work also appears in
MiPoesias, 26, Jacket, Explosive Magazine, XConnect,
Pool, Bombay Gin, Big Bridge, GutCult, and other journals.

Gwendolyn Joyce Mintz writes poetry and stories, for both
children and adults. Her work has appeared in various online and
print journals, as well as six anthologies. Mintz has degrees
from New Mexico State University and is a former news writer and
college instructor. Nominated for creative works, Mintz'
biography was included in the 24th edition of "Who's Who Of
American Women, 2004-2005." She lives with her children and
various pets in New Mexico.
Gianmarc Manzione received an MFA in poetry from New School
University in 2004. Poems from his first collection, This
Brevity, are forthcoming in The Paris Review and
Raritan. He also freelances for Bowlers Journal as well as
several music and literary magazines.
Howard Camner is the author of fifteen books of poetry. He
represents the United States in the Poet 2000 Sculpted Library
based in Dublin.
Barbra Nightingale has published over 200 poems, 4 chapbooks
and one book, Singing in the Key of L which won the
1999 NFSPS Stevens Award. She has a new manuscript, The
Geometry of Dreams, looking for a home. Barbra teaches
English and Poetry at Broward Community College, South
Campus.
Rita
Maria Martinez, is a native Floridian living in Fort Lauderdale.
Her poetry has appeared in numerous publications, including
Diagram, Gargoyle, Gulf Stream
Magazine,
Ploughshares,
MiPOesias
Magazine,
Mangrove and
Tigertail, A South Florida
Poetry Annual.
Martinez worked as a writer for Miami Dade College’s
Publications Department and is part of the group that
coordinates the Spoken Word Café at the Miami Book Fair. She has
a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Florida
International University and has taught there and at MDC. |
