In the dream here was Guantanamo Bay

(here is somewhere else

here was Gitmo bay like a green knuckle

look at the detainees look

at the detainees in green squares

one per as pearls

In the dream here was a Spanish villa

(here is somewhere else

here was a Spanish villa as you find it

a woman upside down on a table

fellating the host like blue Christmas

in another room

In the dream here was a forest

(here is somewhere else

here was the forest in fish eyes

and Banneker measuring roots

leaves crunching away as is

their ilk and inclination

In the dream here is overcast above the sightline

(here is somewhere else

here was overcast above sight

white marble, white sandstone,

white cement, black rails

and metro stops
